grace is over . The post - Thanksgiving sale are over . And yet , turkey leftovers stay . Forlast week ’s Shooting Challenge , we require you to photograph your dud . Two of you find the metre . And what lead was a duo of turkeys — one which will make you never want to wipe out turkey again , and one that will inhale you to wipe out it for the rest of your Thanksgiving life .
It Just Looked So Placid
I took a duad pictures of the bird before slice and it just look so placid . I calculate over after someone had remove the meat from the ramification and saw the knife beat out of the genus Pan and thought it was funny how we spend so long perfecting the visual aspects of the meal when they only persist that way for a few moments but remain in tatters for the relaxation of the daytime . This Turkey Died Of A Heart Attack
ordinarily I might agree with Mark … Turkeys from Thanksgivings past have sample horrible . Probably because I did n’t make them myself . This one was unlike . It was a “ fancy brined turkey ” , but not just any seawater , the saltwater this turkey bathe in included beer . Beer get everything good . What create things better than beer ? Bacon of course of study ! This Meleagris gallopavo was wrapped in thick excision Francis Bacon for the first half of its preparation . Could it get any better ? It does my friend , it does . It was cooked the way meat was intended to be manipulate , on the grill ! But wait , there ’s more … Not only was it grilled , it was smoke , with apple wood ! I cut the bacon that was wrap around the dud up and put it in the mashed potato . The drip were used to make some awful gravy . The whole family do it it .
I want my exposure to be as complex as this turkey itself . alas the family was very hungry and not amuse with me trying to take pictures of the nutrient , so I did n’t have prison term to position it perfectly . I used my Canon T3i and 50 mm f/1.4 lens on a tripod . Natural light reverberate from the snow outside my patio doors illuminated the turkey nicely . This was my first shot since loading Magic Lantern onto my camera . I used the machine photograph bracketing characteristic , which decided 4 exposures were ideal . Combined in Photomatix Pro with minor cropping and color correction in Photoshop . I did n’t realise that load Magic Lantern had readjust my camera configurations and was very disappointed to only find JPG and no RAW Indian file when I download the pictures .

I do n’t know which way I descend with Turkey . We had braise mushrooms for the independent course in my menage , and nobody liked those either .
