According to hispublicist , actor Powers Boothe died in his slumber last night in his Los Angeles family due to natural causes at the old age of 68 .
Boothe was known for his office in Deadwood , Sin City , Tombstone , and , most of late in the Avengers movie and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. where he portrayed Gideon Malick , a key figure of speech in Hydra who finally turned on the organisation . His iconic vox made him a best-loved option to play such villains , and even voiced Gorilla Grodd in the Justice League animated serial .
Boothe is survived by his wife Pam , whom he ’d been marital to for 48 year and their two child Parisse and Preston .
