There ’s something a slight … off about the new guy in Ithiel Town ( act by Alan Tudyk of Firefly , Rogue One , andDoom Patrolfame ) in Syfy ’s Resident Alien . But as the first teaser for thesci - fi clowning seriessuggests , most of his neighbor are n’t too awfully weirded out . Everyone ’s got their quirks , right ?
Resident Alien , which is revolutionise by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse ’s Dark Horse comical serial , follows the escapade of an noncitizen who visits Earth on a mystic mission ( is that ever a honest thingwhen aliens are involved ? ) , but who becomes drawn into the community when he fills the abruptly vacant local doctor ’s gig . What could possibly go wrong ?
That vexer is reasonably short , but there ’s still plenty of room to give off some intriguing “ Northern Exposure conform to Mork from Ork ” vibes . Resident Alien hits Syfy this summertime .
