As I wake up Sunday morning in NYC after Hurricane Irene , I was disappoint . Why ? Because naively , I wanted to see what a “ real ” hurricane expect like . Now that I ’ve seen these before and after flick , I ’m embarrassed for feeling like that . The pictures are catgut twist .
A hurricane is a hurricane is a hurricane . They ’re all bad . And someone somewhere has to rebuild their life history from its destruction . Some cities dodged the tidal wave size bullet , others were n’t so lucky . I hope everyone can get back from Irene . And I really do n’t want to ever see a hurricane .
