One of the big highlights of Rogue One — possibly the biggest — is when the Dark Lord of the Sith boards the doomed Rebel ship that ’s trying to get the Death Star plans to Princess Leia ’s Tantive IV . But it turns out the scene was conceived at practically the last minute .
We know , of course , that the ending to Rogue One went through a circumstances of changes . We ’ve see a number of scenes from the lagger that did n’t make the final cut , and we ’ve seen behind - the - scenes footage of deaths that changed completely . But the Darth Vader scene is one so full of action and essence , you ’d kind of expect that it was plan out and fritter far in betterment .
