An artist who ’s reportedly working on the Transformers 3 tie - in biz has posted a ton of concept art on his web log , including a couple of unusual planets where some legal action exact place . Does this reflect the movie ’s storyline at all ?
Artist Frankell Baramdyka posted two giant collections of Transformers concept art on his blog recently . And other sites mention that Barmadyka is working on the Transformers 3 tie - in game , and that he create this graphics for the biz . ( I ca n’t find any such title on Baramdyka ’s blog — he just identifies the art as “ Transformers concept art . ” HisLinkedIn profiledoes say he work for Activision , which is doing the Transformers 3 game though . )
In any caseful , with Transformers 3 schedule to come out in the summer of 2011 , it ’s not undue to think the link - in plot would be well into the development process . The surprising matter about Baramdyka ’s artistic creation is that it does n’t depict an Earthbound plot line at all — instead , it involve place on a jungle planet and someplace called Lithos , which is apparently a city on Cybertron . There are ruins on the jungle planet where the Autobots seem to discover something , and there ’s also a synagogue on the “ Mechanical Planet ” ( which I ’m guessing is also Cybertron . )
We ’ve had some hint of late that transformer 3 would dig a bit more into the backstory of the Autobots and the Decepticons , possibly including some sequence on Cybertron . If this artwork does in reality reflect what ’s in the game , and if that ’s closely tied in to the movie ’s storyline — two grown ifs — then this could be our first speck as to how much clip Michael Bay ’s third transforming robot epic will spend traveling through outer space .
Update : Some site are identifying this prowess as coming from the War For Cybertron game alternatively , which would certainly make good sense . Baramdyka has n’t identified it either manner . In any guinea pig , visualise such cool aspect and alien worlds in the next Michael Bay flick is probably too much to hope for .
