In a pathetic PR move , Doritos is beaming an ad for their chips into blank space , apparently so aliens , when they invade , will lash out the Frito - Lay factories first .
They broadcast a 30 second television ( what format is n’t clear ; I hope the aliens have VLC ! ) into space which was voted on by the British to best represent aliveness on Earth , or at least the minute of life on Earth that involve seek to betray unhealthy corn chip . Peter Charles , Head of the “ Doritos Broadcast Project ” can apparently still kip at dark after saying “ We also should n’t be too surprised if the first alien commence arriving on planet Earth forthwith take a bag of Doritos . ” If so , the universe of discourse is more unlucky than I think .
