The hybrid “ assault and battery ” is actually wee rotary piston source , primitively developed for the Department of Defense Humanoid Robot Program . fill up it with pretty much any fuel , everything from gasoline , to natural gas , to biofuels or hydrogen , and the rotor coil gathering spins return electrical power . It ’s kind of likelike an old RX-7for your gadgets . The initial prototype ( fancy above ) has a 5kW index output , but Clarian claims that its scalable design can power anything from , say , an iPhone all the room up to an electric fomite .
