I hit the Steelcase offices in NYC to get on the newWalkstation . At first , it look like a bulky treadmill with a basic desk strapped on top , and I had some doubts about how comfortable it would be to work while working out . When I tested it out , though , I was pretty impressed with the pattern .

The Walkstation does n’t go faster than 3 miles per hour so you never move beyond a leisurely stroll . The treadmill / desk includes mickle of feature that make walking and typecast comfortable , include a large adjustable workspace that farm and lowers to twin your height , and a soft raised wrist bar that doubles as a bannister for constancy . It also has a killing switch for the treadmill control , in case you get distracted and blank out to keep walking .

The Walkstation lacks a tenderness charge per unit monitor or any other health information besides the issue of kilogram calorie incinerate , work it difficult to get across your progress . peradventure that ’ll be in v2.0 .
