In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE on the 2024Golden Globesred carpet Sunday, theSuitsalum, 42 reflected on the legal drama’srecent resurgence on Netflixand opened p about the show’s shocking comeback.

Adams said to have such a “second swell” has been “really, really strange.”
“It happened. And then it was one week and then it was two weeks and five weeks, and it kept going. And I think we had a twelve-week run at number one,” he recalled. “It’s just crazy. So we feel very grateful. And I think there’s something about the show that clearly continues to speak to people.”
Suits, which ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019, starred Adams,Gabriel Macht,Sarah Rafferty,Rick HoffmanandMeghan Markle.

“But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it,” she added. “But good shows are everlasting.”
