Rascal FlattsstarJoe Don Rooney’s divorce from wife Tiffany Fallon Rooney has been finalized, after more than two years of contentious court battles that alleged infidelity, alcoholism and more.
“The Court finds that each of the parties bears a share of the responsibility for the demise of this marriage,” the documents state. “Neither party is perfect, and their individual shortcomings are all human failures with which many of us will be confronted at some point in our lives. The Court will not condemn them further for giving into their human frailties when lonely, emotionally lost or in despair.”

The documents also indicate that Fallon’s request for spousal support was denied, though she will receive $791 per week in child support.
In one instance cited in the decree of divorce, Fallon allegedly told Rooney, “F— you, Joe Don. I don’t need a f—ing dad” after he confronted her about spending too much money on a purse, and she also allegedly struck him on the side of the head with a water bottle after he told her they might not be accepted as members of a local country club due to her “past modeling career.” (She previously worked forPlayboy.)
After meeting backstage at an awards show in 2003, the couple tied the knot in April 2006 — but in January 2021, Rooney claims he received an email from Fallon telling him she intended to pursue a divorce. He eventually filed first days later, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Months later, Rooney wasinvolved in a car accident and was arrested for driving under the influence. He was then admitted to Cirque Lodge Rehabilitation Center, a $314,629 per month facility in Utah.
There, according to the divorce decree filing, Rooney admitted to “engaging in intimate sexual contact” with a female patient three different times (Rooney also allegedly admitted to having a different, one-month-long affair in August 2021 with another woman). He was discharged in January 2022, and has been sober ever since, maintaining his sobriety through outpatient therapy and AA meetings.
Fallon, meanwhile, admitted in her deposition and pleadings that she began an affair with her personal trainer in August 2020.
Both parties were granted a divorce on the grounds of inappropriate marital conduct.
