The cast ofGame of Thronessure knows how to have a good time.

At the series’ final season premiere event in New York City on Wednesday, the actors demonstrated that though they star in a show that revolves around a lot of death and destruction, they will getdownat an afterparty.

Here are the highlights we observed at the epic final event.

A Throne Fit for Many Kings/Queens

A huge part of the season 8 premiere festivities involved the Iron Throne, the coveted seat for the king/queen of all realms in Westeros. HBO installed a giant replica in the heart of Rockefeller Plaza at the front of the red carpet, as well as a smaller white version at the afterparty.

Sophie Turner Goes Shoeless

AfterSophie Turner(aka Sansa Stark, aka The Lady of Winterfell) rocked the red carpet in a glam blackcocktail dress and heels, she ditched her shoes at the premiere’s afterparty and was seen happily walking around barefoot, hugging and posing for photos with her many costars.

Samwell Tarly Meets a Hero

Actor John Bradley, aka Sam Tarly, looked to be the most surprised and starstruck when he met comedian Dave Chappelle, a hugeGoTfan, who was mingling with the cast at the bash. Chappelle was seen chatting with a variety of the show’s major players and looked happy to be meeting everyone, like Bradley’s real-life pal and costarKit Harington.

The Mountain Is Never Lost in a Crowd

The Dead Have Risen!

Despite the fact that their characters are no longer on the show, a slew of actors whose characters have been killed off attended the final premiere and party. The list included: Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey), Sean Bean (Ned Stark), Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Sibel Kekilli (Shae), Mark Addy (Robert Baratheon), Pedro Pascal (Oberyn “the Red Viper” Martell), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Aidan Gillen (Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish) and Esmé Bianco (Ros).
